Philosophy

Asking how to understand where we are and where we should go:
My practice is situated around a questioning of what exists and how to evaluate that through social practice and envisioning collaborative ways to engage communities and groups in processes of innovation. Facilitating workshops, presenting ideas through new perspectives, and performing in the public realm are my methods of departing the principles of design into the social consciousness. Moving from a desire to democratize design towards a process of designing democracy. We have the tools to re-design the world that we live in and that we shape for the future. The common good is inherently social — this is your call to action!
